sonhar, escrever, hastear
In this workshop, led by artist Francisco Mallmann, we will collectively construct flags, exploring writing as a performative and artistic practice.
The creation of the flags stems from an investigation that considers writing as a performative materiality: imagination. The formulations, displayed in collective spaces, emerge as invitations to explore the notions of record, memory, and the processes involved in the creation of narratives—both individual and collective. By intersecting writing, fabric pieces, and installation, the works open up to the idea of practice: constant and circumstantial exercises in what the activity of writing can be, its modes of creation, understanding, and publication.
