Commissioned by the Municipality of Sintra, this study analyses the strategies of insertion of Muslims in the municipality of Sintra in Lisbon’s Metropolitan Area. The key elements are the school integration, labor conditions and housing facilities.
This study analyses the strategies of insertion of Muslims in the municipality of Sintra in Lisbon’s Metropolitan Area. The key elements are the school integration, labor conditions and housing facilities. It intends to examine gender relations and conceptions, since many institutional relationships with Muslims communities are made through their male leaders and representatives.
Commissioned by the Municipality of Sintra, the study will also analyze the institutional responses to the county’s cultural and religious diversity.
