NOVA Walks (formerly known as Lisbon Walks) are themed cultural tours held in the city of Lisbon and aimed at the NOVA community, particularly its international students, but open to the general public.

Initiated in 2018, these tours are led by Dr. Ana Fernandes Pinto, a PhD Researcher in History at CHAM/FCSH. Several themes have been covered on the tours, including: “Lisbon through the Viewpoints,” “Lisbon Riverside,” “Lisbon before and after the Earthquake,” and “Lisbon between Faiths: Dialogues and Ruptures.”

With the creation of the cultural itinerary in 2023, NOVA Walks will also be reconfigured in dialogue with the cultural sites that are part of the University’s heritage.

Led by Ana Fernandes Pinto, the tours are free and in English. Only advance registration is required through the NOVA Cultura form.
