Physically, they perform theater at NOVA Medical School. Spiritually, they don’t know, but they’re discovering.
The Miguel Torga Theater Group likes to believe it’s more than that. It’s the desire to talk about everything and nothing. It’s The Manifesto against emotions and its excess. It’s the rituals. It’s the rumors. It’s the speculation and prejudice. It’s the vanity of thinking they can be all of that. And they can. Say and do whatever they want. Believing that this freedom of performing theater is the fuel for each show. The freedom to be many, many in one. It’s for this reason that they insist on treading the boards and doing so with greater conviction with each scene.
