The “Discover Science with ITQB NOVA” project, promoted in partnership with the Municipality of Oeiras, aims to foster scientific thinking and interest in life sciences among students in the district. Easy access to science and scientific culture is essential for cultural enrichment and the dissemination of knowledge.
Researchers from the institute visit schools of different educational levels in order to promote experimental activities and engaging conversations, with the aim of awakening and cementing a taste for science and making known the excellence of the research carried out in the country. ITQB NOVA also invites secondary and higher education students to visit its facilities and laboratories, in the form of field trips tailored to their interests.
