NOVO BANCO and NOVA SBE have established a strategic partnership since 2017 with a view to promoting the sharing of knowledge in the areas of technology and entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity, through the Chair called “NOVO BANCO Entrepreneurship & Technology Chair” and through the periodic availability of works of art from its Contemporary Photography Collection.
Nova SBE’s campus in Carcavelos is a space open to the local and international community and its mission is to generate reflection and discussion on current pressing issues. The exhibitions that have been proposed by NOVO BANCO every six months through the curatorship of specific themes, have given the community the opportunity to reflect on themes such as inclusion, diversity and the paradigm of sustainability based on photography, based on the collection of one of the The world’s most important corporate collections of contemporary art composed of living artists of the 21st century.
The exhibition now on display on campus was produced based on the joint project of the corporate collections belonging to the IACCCA – International Association of Corporate Collections of Contemporary Art, which resulted in the book with the same name as the exhibition “Art in the Time of Ecological Disruption ” with the Novobanco Photography Collection project coming in second with the highest number of selected works.
