Founded on February 15, 1993, with the purpose of adding a tunante dimension to the academic culture and spirit of the then FEUNL, and of strengthening, through musicality, inter-student relations, ForTuna, Nova SBE’s Academic Tuna, already has around 60 members, with very distinct roles and personalities.
With the main goal of preserving the tunante tradition, the academic spirit, the indelible Portuguese identity, and the strong sense of honor and pride in being a Nova SBE member, ForTuna maintains its identity in this new seaside space.
Driven by an incomparable sense of unity, resilience, dedication, but above all, by a deep love for academic life and bohemian life, its unmistakable voice will never cease to spread from the halls of Nova SBE to the four corners of our country, always carrying with it one of Portugal’s most valuable cultural and artistic traditions.
