Created in 2023, the NOVA FCSH Libraries Reading Club promotes a regular series of meetings, each with a different theme, where a book is suggested, read and then discussed. As a way of making this structure more comprehensive and transdisciplinary, in 2024 a partnership was developed with the Faculty’s Personal Development and Social Inclusion Office, turning these meetings into a forum for inclusive dialogue.
The Club aims to encourage the reading of literature as a leisure activity, stimulate critical thinking and create a space for debate based on the sharing of ideas and experiences and the freedom of expression and free sharing of ideas.
