WORK IN PROGRESS | VERTICAL DANCE

On June 12 at 12:30 PM, a public sharing will present the research developed during a five-day artistic residency centred on the encounter between contemporary dance and vertical dance.
Throughout the residency, the dancers engaged in a process of physical and choreographic exploration focused on the relationship between body, gravity, and space, opening new possibilities for composition and presence.
The research has been accompanied by choreographer Olga Roriz, invited as an external eye throughout the process. Drawing on her extensive experience in choreographic creation and movement dramaturgy, she has contributed to deepening the research and fostering a space for critical reflection around the material developed.
More than the presentation of a finished work, this sharing offers an opportunity to encounter an ongoing process of research, experimentation, and exchange, revealing some of the questions, materials, and directions that have emerged during the residency.
