Access to Culture
Follow us:
To promote the NOVA Community’s participation in cultural life, the NOVA Cultura Program establishes cooperation agreements with city halls, institutions, and cultural facilities in the areas where NOVA operates. It also participates, within the scope of established partnerships, in the Corredor Cultural, a joint initiative of Portuguese universities aimed at promoting access to culture for all students.
NOVA is part of the CULTURAL CORRIDOR, a project developed by the Specialized Committee on Arts and Culture of the Council of Rectors of Portuguese Universities (CRUP). The project aims to facilitate and promote access for higher education students to participating cultural spaces, whether monuments, museums, cultural centers, performance halls, or exhibition halls, throughout the country. In 2024, the NOVA Cultura Program established a protocol with the Lisbon City Council and EGEAC, allowing the inclusion of their cultural facilities on the platform. All higher education students from national public and private institutions, including mobility students and students from countries covered by Erasmus+ agreements, can benefit by presenting their student ID card for the special conditions indicated on the platform.
EGEAC facilities now have the following information regarding discounts applicable to Corredor Cultural beneficiaries:
